Thank you so much for your generous donation and scholarship opportunity. I am so grateful to have been chosen for this scholarship. With the money I can help my parents pay for my tuition.
I have paid my way through school for the past four years, however this past year I have not been working so that I can study full time and graduate a year early. Due to taking double the amount of classes, my tuition has been higher and has put a strain on my parents due to rising cost of living. I am appreciative of this opportunity to help them.
Though it was not not my original plan, I have found a passion for Construction Management as I have gone through the program. I have found talents and skills that I did not know I possessed. Through projects, competitions, and internship I have learned and grown so much. I am hopeful for the future and aspire to build a great career in the industry. I can see success in a preconstruction or project management role.
I would like to continue my education and get my master’s degree in construction management. One day I would also like to possibly pursue a PHO and possibly become a professor later in my career. All in all, the scholarship will help me pay tuition to complete my bachelors and open so many doors.
